Conditional formatting

Hi,
How can i use conditional formatting , if i have blank cells i want them to
turn red.
 
select the cells those you want them to have the format, go to
format>conditional format, select Formula Is, then write in the blank,

=[active cell]=""

then click format button, on Patterns table click the color you want, the
okay>okay.
