Conditional formatting

When a conditional format is set. e.g if the required criteria is not met
then the cell value is formatted to be bold red. Is it possible to filter
out the rows where this occurs.

Use the CF criterion as your filtering criterion.

Otherwise, to filter on CF bold red cells would require VBA.

Not using the CF. However, if you put a formula that mimics the CF in a
helper column, you can use that to filter.
