how to conditional format a n*m box depending a column value
for example I have 4*3 box and I want to highlight the row depenidng the
third column value.
a,f,3
a,b,4
x,y,5
x,a,1

the formula for conditional formatting is "=c1>3" and I choose color.
and apply to $A$1:$C$4
You might expect only C column is colored.
How can I color the A and B column?
I don't want to use VBA.

Select all columns and use

=$C1>3
