Conditional formatting on expression fields

I have a report that is based on a query. The query has an expression field
(to concatenate the first and last name). I want to bold that expression
field on the report when the value of another field is equal to Y. I wrote
the expression in the conditional formatting dialog box and the bolding works
but instead of the value of the field, it displays #Name?

When I try the same expression in the conditional formatting dialog box to
format another field it is fine.

Exactly what is the expression you used? Where did you place it?

Do you get that #Name in that control in the report if you do not use
conditional formatting?

Actually, I figured it out. I had named the expression in the query upon
which the report was based as just expr1. As soon as I changed the name of
the expression in the query and then deleted the old field and inserted the
field with its new name in the report, it worked fine. Thanks anyway.
