Conditional Formating Expression

Hello,

I am trying to write an expression for a conditional format. In a form for
data entry, users enter a "school name". This name comes from a drop down
menu, and the items in this drop down menu come from a table callled "school
list." In school list, there is a column called "Special School?" with a
"Yes" or a "No" in it. If it is a "Speical School?" (so, yes), I would like
the "School Name" to appear in red in the form. Is there an expression for
this?

Thank you!!
Laurie

Laurie,

Please see my reply in the original thread.

I notice this message was posted 11 minutes after your response in the
original thread. It is not clear why you decided to start a new thread,
but, just a hint for the future... it is less confusing to keep the
conversation in one place.

Steve,

I'm sorry, I certainly didn't mean to confuse anyone or be rude-- I just
assumed that people wouldn't be checking that thread anymore.

Thanks for all your help, I'm new at all this, so your guidance is important.

No problem, Laurie, and no offence intended.

I think most of the regulars here would keep track of threads they have
participated in.

I guess the main disadvantage of a discussion being "split" is that
somebody is going to spend some of their time putting together an
answer, only to find that it has already been adequately taken care of
elsewhere.

I'll know for next time. I can not tell you how helpful it is that this forum
exists, I really appreciate it. Thanks for your help.
