Conditional formating by origin

Hello

A1 has value of 4. B1 has value of 5. C1 has a formula choosing the
bigger of the two values between A1 and B1 and is therefore showing 5.

Is there anyway of conditional formatting C1 to show the origin of the
value was from B1?

Anyone got any ideas?

Use 2 format conditions. Cell value is>equal to>=A1 (and =B1). Format each
condition to show a different format (eg text colour). Format A1 & B1 to
match the conditional formatting

Formula of =A1=$C1
and format
