ComRes.dll ComResModuleInstance (Protool)

When I start my Siemens ProTool software I get the following message
"ProTool.exe - Entry Point Not Found
The procedure entry point COMResModuleInstance could not be located in the
dynamic link library COMRes.dll"

The ProTool software is working fine, just an irritation to have this
message every time the program is started.

Any guys that knows how to solve this?

Hi Mark,

well, the OS s XP SP1... what ComRes.dll version is the newest?
where can I download a newe one? Does it come with a Service Pack, Hotfix,
....?

I got mine from SP2, and is version 2001.12.4414.258. You probably have the
SP1 version, and if that difference is the issue, I don't know what good a
new copy of your version might do, but it's worth a shot. Another copy is
in /i386

The Help database for MS DLL files indicates there are two versions extant

Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 1 size 792064 8/17/2001 COMRES.DL_
\I386
Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 1 size792064 8/24/2001 COMRES.DL_
\I386


I don't know what the difference would be.
