computer won't turn on - keeps telling me to run setup

M

Mike

For some reason my computer won't turn on. It gives me an
error message along the lines of 'no boot filename
received' pxe 53 binl, dhcp....

something like that, then it tells me to either exit or
press F2 for setup. Neither of which seems to correct the
problem.

Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

Check if BIOS recognizes your hard disk, and that it is set to boot from
that hard disk. As it is now, no hard disk is found, and your computer
tries to boot from your NIC instead.

Might be an incorrect BIOS setting, or a dead hard disk.

Best regards
