computer will not shut down

please help when i go to shut down menu and press shut
down it won't do anything it won't shut down i had to
leave it on all night . could i have that worm ? i got a
blaster worm removal tool and used it but at the end it
saids there is no virus detected . i don't know please
help.

I have the same problem. I have a temporary workaround.
Click Ctrl-Alt-Delete, when the Task Manager window opens,
click disconnect. This will allow you to get to the
original Welcome screen. Then click Shutdown.

Now if I can just figure out why it's doing this...
