Computer under a boot disk in a home network

I have a home network with four computers all under WinXP SP2. All computers
are connected through the NetComm NB5Plus4 modem-router. Any computer can
look into another one and in the Internet. And all this works perfectly.

But when I have started one computer from under a boot disk, I can be in the
Internet and I can see presence of other computers in the network, but I
cannot look into another computer. When I try to do it, I receive the
message: "You do not have permission, address to the administrator..."

Where and what shoud I correct?

Thank you

Started one computer from under what "boot disk"? What are you trying to
accomplish with this "boot disk"?

Thank you, Malke. I used the Russian boot disk iNFR@ v.6.4. It is based on
the Part PE boot disk. I would like to learn to use this tool to be fully
armed on a case of failure.

You should see if that boot disk has a users' forum. Bart's PE has a
very active users' forum so if your Russian disk doesn't, spend some
time in the Bart's forum.

Because the "user" of the boot disk is unknown to your other computers,
he isn't authenticated and therefore can't access their resources. I
have no idea how you'd handle that with that particular boot disk.
