AUTOMATICALLY SHUT ITSELF OFF. NOW I HAVE TO MANUALLY
TURN IT OFF AFTER WINDOWS LOGGS OFF. HOW CAN I GET BACK

So what? Get some exercise.

Replace the motherboard with one that is XP compliant. If you set XP
incorectly your computer will restart instead.

Hi!
1]Enter the BIOS and check power option settings
2]Click [Start] [Control Panel] [Performance and Maintenance] [Power
Options]
The Power Options Properties Property Sheet will open.
Click the APM tab and check the box to [Enable Advanced Power Management
Support]
