Computer shut down ..remote procedure call

I have had the same problem as marcie and michael s
today...never had it before ...computer gives u 60 seconds
or whatever to find problem...computer being shut down
because of remote procedure call service and authorized by
NT Authority \system. How can i correct this problem. Just
get logged into something and the computer shuts down.
Please help. Thanks

Donna I have experienced exactly the same as you with the
System Shutdown today
Any answers yet ?

Hi, the previous post is correct in that a vulnerability in XP is
being exploited by a virus. The Link below tells you how to prevent
your machine from being infected:

However, if you're already infected, you need to clean your system
aswell. Follow the instructions on this page:
