computer running at 100%

my computer has picked up a program named UPDATE.EXE
it seems to start about 30 seconds after the startup sequence finishes and
constantly accesses my hard drive. I have tried to find where it starts in
the registry with no luck and also can't find a file named update.exe on my
machine.

Where can I find itor remove it? Help???
 
I would suggest trying spybot & adaware, see if they find anything.
