computer rebooting, last file loaded is mup.sys

I use the safe mode, watch all the files, mup.sys is the
last file loaded, then it boots.

This is on an XP Home machine.

Oh, sorry. It just reboots and reboots...that's the last
file I see loaded before it reboots.

From what I can find on google, a repair install of XP should fix you up.
Boot from the XP cd, and when prompted hit enter to begin setup. Press F8 to
accept the license agreement. It will then search and find your existing XP
install. Select it, and choose R for repair. Back up any important data
files in case something goes wrong.

Will I need to Product Key? My father-inlaw does not
have his CD anymore.

Is there a way to get the product key from the recovery
console command prompt? Is it stored somewhere?
