I have a graphics of 2.9 for desk top and Gaming graphics of 2.6 thats my
rating does that mean i need a new card to get higher?

Or a driver update, potentially -- What sort of card?

More importantly, what do you want to do that you can't do?
 
Not necessarily will a new card offer a significantly higher result. The mobo and the type of graphics slot it supports may be a further limitation or contributing factor in the desktop and gaming subscores.

Maybe you don't have the top graphics card, but 2.9 gets you aero features,
and 2.6 gaming means that you don't get all detail and high frame rates.. if
you are satisfied with the way that Aero performs, and you don't play high
end games, then you can save your money..
