computer not showing up in network

ok there are 5 computers at work that are all networked through a netgear
switch, 4 of them show up in the network just fine but the main one that has
the internet modem conected to it can not be accessed from any of the other 4
computers, they all run on xp pro and sp2 except the main one which everytime
i try to install sp2 it doesnt take it and have to system restore
anyone any ideas why this is?
 
Are u using ICS? If so then setup all computers to use DHCP.
what are the IP addresses of all the computers?
