Computer Management \ Users and Groups \ Icons but no description

Not sure what has happened but in Windows 2000
Professional - Settings\Control Panel\Administrative
Tools\Computers Management\System Tools\Local Users and
Groups\Users. When you go to properties of anyone on the
list, including the Administrator, their is an icon with
no description next to the icon, under the "tab" "Member
of". When I try to do an "ADD" I get the following error -
"An error occurred trying to create the object picker -
An error with no description has occurred". Now I can't
share anything from this computer nor can I access it from
any others. It will not accept any user and password. Has
anyone else had this problem? If so, is there a fix for
it? I have tried running "REPAIR" to no avail. Any help
would be greatly appreciated.

I am seeing the same error on xp pro. I think this started to happen,
when I installed and uninstalled the norton internet security. I got
some old version with my motherboard, I tried it, started having
problems with my share folders, so I uninstalled it, I am not sure if
thats when the problem started to occur, I mean those above mentioned
error messages. But it sure was after the uninstall of norton internet
security.

Have you installed any third party security package on your system ?
