Somehow I messed up my Services and can only view the
'standard' I can't view the extended, and of course I had
to mess around and screw everything up, and I can't edit
my application management service to start automatically,
any suggestions?

Try running at start / run services.msc

If you can remember how to permanently remove the
extened view of services in compmgmt.msc, please,
please let me know !!

As far as undoing what you have described as further
mess up, you are the only one that knows what the
situation is so with no info it is not likely anyone here
will be able to help.

Hi,

Open windows explorer, drill to c:\windows\system32, look for
compmgmt.msc and right click it. Choose author while you're an admin.
Drill down to the services tab and switch to the extended view. Click
File>options and uncheck 'do not save changes to this console' and
apply. Click file>save and close the app. It should stick to the
extended view instead of standard.
