computer lockup

I have a problem with frequent lock ups while surfing the
internet and sometimes when not on the internet
The mouse and keyboard become non-responsive and must
hard re-boot to get the system working again.
This could happen as many as 5 times an hour.
it seems to get worse the longer you are on the computer
 
You may have an overheating problem.

Open the case and clean out the dust. Make sure all the fans inside are
working properly.
