Computer Lock Up

Can Someone Help me? Ever since I updated my XP software
with some critical updates, My computer will just lock up
and I have to manually turn off and restart my computer.
This is really getting to be a drag, since I tend to nnot
save things all the time. I then end up having to do
things twice.

I have more questions than answers for you...are you
running in a low RAM environment? you could be running
too many programs at the same time. you might be low on
Virtual Memory. If you want too eliminate this problem
increase your Ram(this might be your last option), clean
out and remove unwanted programs and files and buy
Norton. Use your Disk Clean-up and De-Frag feature in
your System Tools foulder.

If this does not help you might have a virus...run Norton
or McAfee...Good Luck
