Computer is slow

Hi,
I was just wondering if anyone else is having problems
with their computer being so slow, I have cable an
usually my computer is pretty fast but lately my
computer seems to be slow.

Hi,
Have you checked your computer for Spyware? I had a ton
of that running in he background, and it really used up he
resources on my machine.

Silly tip that has worked well.

Go to your swap file settings and disable the swapfile. Reboot the machine
and set swapfile to computer managed.

It seems that sometimes the swap file can get a little messed up and it will
cause the system to really bog down. By removing, rebooting and then
re-instating the swap file you clean up this mess. Have seen this have
drastic results on 4 different machines in the last 2 months.
