Computer is infected, can't stop pop-ups

Hi Bruce,
So, I ran the spybot in safe mode and it claimed to eliminate the problems
that wouldn't be permitted to be removed when I ran it in regular mode. So
all the problems are theortically gone. I turn off the computer, turn it
back on again and the advertisements continued as if I'd never done anything.
I'm currently running the spybot again in safe mode and it's picking up
nothing. Now what?

Thanks,
David

Use something else.

Further, what, specifically, is generating the advertisements? What,
specifically, does it say in the title bar of each? What unknown
applications or processes are show by the Task Manager? Do you have
your firewall enabled?

You really need to start providing some sort of specific details if you
want us to be able to help you. Otherwise, you should consider
contacting a local repair shop for assistance. We cannot see what is
happening on your computer, and have to rely entirely upon what you tell us.

Visit my web-site

and perform the malware removal instructions .
You may need to also goto the specific malware removal instructions.
And something additional that can help us , tell what the names of
infections are , what do the pop-ups state , what is written/drawn ?

You have no antivirus, no firewall, and you are curious as to why you are
having problems?

You should be running a reputable antivirus program and a reputable
firewall. Windows has a rudimentary firewall, but it is not really a good
one.
