Computer hijacked, with lots of persistent spy/adwares

Microsoft must react, did you try to use the internet these days with
Internet Explorer? It's chaos outside!!! We get bombed with spyware and
adware all the way up. And what bothers more is that these small buggers are
becoming really smart and install themselves automatically without any
authorization and in a more impossible way to delete them.

My home page is set to about:blank, it doesn't change, but it happens that
everytime I open IE6, it goes automatically to a webpage that disables the
right-click on itself so we cannot view the source code. There is one way to
view it, simply go to View menu and select Source. It mentions
www.searchxp.com, www.search-all-fast.com and www.rb37.com. When I go to
these sites, they don't give me the option to unistall any software that
might have been installed by them. And within the webpage that opens
automatically, when I click any hyperlink, it just doesn't go there. I've
tried all major spyware/adware removers, BHO removers, and yes, they find a
lot of malicious stuff, they remove them, but right after I removed that, I
search again, and there they are again automatically installed. I've cleared
the running processes, and still they appear there. Also there are lots of
pop-ups all over. I've disabled the Messenger "Service", it disabled some of
the pop-ups, but from time to time I'm bombed with one or other. There is one
that was particularly boring, it mentioned falkag something, I went to the
site, but nothing...
Shouldn't someone sue Microsoft for ignoring this privacy/security issues?

Can you give any help here?
Thanks...

Microsoft posted a message about how to secure IE more than a year ago,
and even updated it this year. If you were to follow their directions
for securing IE you would not have the problems you describe.

Since MS did provide the information, but you failed to look for it, you
have to take some of the blame here. The solution has been posted to
many on-line forums, many news-paper technical sections, MSN, Yahoo, and
all over Usenet.

At one point, if you had been reading about security on the Microsoft
security site, you would have seen MS suggest that you not use IE until
they could patch it.

I use and have always used IE.. I do not get bombed by anything.. you have
to bear in mind that there are people out there whose sole purpose in life
is to make the computing experience offered by Microsoft as difficult as
possible..

To combat these daily occurrences, there are others who are trying to help..
download and run the following programs..

SPYBOT 1.3 download.. http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html

AdawareSE.. http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/

Omega Killer.. http://www.short-media.com/review.php?r=252

Spyware Blaster.. http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/

You also need to consider installing SP2..

Ordering SP2 cd..

Report back to this thread when you have completed all of the above..

Good luck

Try this solution, it might help:

1. Create a new user, log on with new user and use IE. If everything is ok,
and IE works normally, then delete the (old) user name with was having
problem with IE (adware, always get to specific search website,...). One of
my client was having the same problem and before trying to reinstall
everything, I tried this and it worked perfectly. Hope you can fix with this.

Advice:
2. My next advice to prevent this kind of adware and stuff like that is not
to log on with administrator rights. That mean create a USER with Normal USER
rights (not Admin of not Power User). And everytime you use the internet,
suft web,... log on by using the normal user account. Only log on to admin or
power user account when you want to make change to your system.

3. Last but not least: Turn on FIREWALL. There's is no need to install
adware remover or any stuff like that if you don't like to make any more
trouble to the system and slow the computer down.
