computer get restart automatically when command prompt(using XP) opens......

hi,
whenever i opens the window of command prompt,computer get restart
automatically..
Its a first time am facing the problem.... plz tell me the solution to
over come the problem..
 
Hello,

how are you opening the command prompt?

Is it by a shortcut, or through the 'run' command in the start menue?

Are you the only user and Administrator?

I will try to help with those answers, otherwise, I'm not sure of the
problem really.
