Gee... your computer might be "freezing" for any multitude of reasons.

What do you mean by "freeze?" Are you getting a blue screen with white
letters that requires you to hit the power button on your computer to "get
back" to the desktop? If yes to this question, what's the error msg on that
blue screen?

Or... does your computer screen just stop at some point and not allow you to
interact with it at all? If yes to this question, how long do you wait
before rebooting the PC? What were you doing when the freeze occurred?

If you had the computer for five months and it just recently started
"freezing," then one must assume something changed on the system that
brought about the "freezing" problem. Some change... some new software
install or a Windows update or, maybe, an outdated security program. Not
knowing what the outdated security program is presents a problem when
attempting to answer the question. (Although, I must say, I've never seen
outdated security programs cause issues... but I haven't used each and every
security program out there, so, yeah, it is a possible source of your
problem.)

More data, please.
