Computer file folders in outlook

I am using outlook 2003 on an exchange server. In a previous version of
outlook I was able to pull folders from the computer file system into the
outlook bar and simply drag ans drop messages. This got them out of the my
account and allowed permanant storage. Is there a way to do this in 2003. My
account is regularly cleaned of any messages older than 3 months.

Outlook 2003 does not have that feature. You'll need to open a separate Windows Explorer window to drop messages into.
