Hi there! Could someone smart out there PLEASE give me a
hand? :) I would like to know how to view the websites
that have been visited on this computer. Also, is there
a way to prevent someone from erasing the history files
in Internet Explorer?

Thanks!!!

Click the history button on your windows explorer browser. As for stopping
someone from clearing your history files, this is done automatically after a
few days by IE. If you would like to increase the amount of time IE stores
the history files:

1)Open IE.
2)On the menu bar at the top of the screen, click "Tools".
3)At the bottom of the open menu you will see an option "Internet Options",
click it.
4)A new screen will open up and toward the bottom you will see the options
for 'History' and the amount of time IE stores the information, changes as
your need fits.

As for preventing someone from deleting the files manually, Im not sure if
thats possible. With WinXP you might be able to password protect the folder
but I am not sure if that would be complete security.

(Fighting a huge grin.....)

Just launch Internet Explorer and then hold the control key down as you
press "h"

I am sure there IS a way to hack the registery and make the administrator
the only one that can change IE's history purge settings. But I would just
practice my steely glare and interogation technique. Ve have vays!
