Computer Description disabled

I specified a "Computer Description" on the "Computer
Name" tab of "System Properties". This worked fine a few
days ago when I started using my new Windows XP system.
Today I noticed that the "Computer Description" is now
blank. Furthermore, the "Computer Description" field on
the "Computer Name" tab of "System Properties" is
disabled (will not accept input) and the "apply" button
is also disabled.

Why did this happen and how do I now specify a computer
description?

Hi Neville,

This may have to do with the Workstation Service. See if you can change it
here: Start/Run/LUSRMGR.MSC

Users/Double click the user in question in the right pane/Description.
