Computer date and time changed

Recently, some of the users reported that their Windows XP Service pack 2
workstations date and time changed out-of-the-blue! The year changed to
1980, 2087, 2088 etc....

Anyone has any ideal what could be the caused?

There was a hotfix that Microsoft released a few weeks back that changes the
time for America...

Check to see if thos affected machines have 'KB931836' installed. If so,
there is probably your answrer
