Computer crashes randomly

I have been getting random crashes recently - it seems to happen when I
run more than one program at a time. I have examined the Event Viewer
and there are dozens of the same error in the seconds leasing up to the
machine shutting off. (I am running XP Pro SP2 with all the updates).

I hope someone can help please

Random lockups are usually caused by failing hardware. However, when I
Google "timounter" I get a lot of links referring to Acronis True Image.
Are you running that program? If so, then please go to Acronis tech support
for help. They are very responsive.

If you aren't running Acronis TI, then here are some general hardware
