Computer Administrator Questions

At START UP, my computer "WELCOME" window does not come up
with my name as "Computer Administrator" (w/Icon beside it)
in order for me to click on it (for my personal settings),
even though I have established my account. It only comes
up if I establish another "User" name, which causes me to
have TWO computer administrators names on the Welcome
Window. If I don't have this second Administor name on
here, it does not bring up the Welcome" screen at all. It
by-passes it. QUESTION: HOW DO I CORRECT THIS PROBLEM?

Thanks for your help.

Why do you need the Welcom Screen. The only info that
gives you is that your settings are being loaded. If you
are the only person using this computer and you have not
set up other accounts for different tasks, what is the
problem?

If there is only one user account on the machine, and it does not have a
password, XP will boot straight to the Desktop. Click Start, Run and enter
CONTROL USERPASSWORDS2 Check Users must enter a username and
password........ Click Apply.
