Hi all,

I have a ppt that is well in excess of 9 Mb.
I want to compress it considerably.
The ppt is full of pics. from the net and some taken
with a camera.
What are my options I am using PowerPoint XP.

cheers,

if you want to view paradise simple look around and view it!!!!!

In PowerPoint 2002 you can go to File > Save As and click on tools and
select Compress Pictures. This may or may not make the file smaller,
depending how optimized your images are already. In the long run, you can
always optimize your images first by following the suggestions in the
tutorial at http://www.powerpointbackgrounds.com/powerpointgraphics.htm

You could try running NXPowerLite on your presentation to compress it.
Free trial available from www.nxpowerlite.com

Cheers that worked - got the file down to 2.33 mb
not bad!
