Compressewd ZIP folders

Previously I used to manage to use ZIP folders well. now I am managing to
browse the contents of the ZIP folders but when I copy and then paste a file
in the folder to another location nothing happens. If I do extract all it
works fine but I can not extract individual files. It is possible that it
started after I installed the trial edition of Nero 7 but I have uninstalled
it and the problem persisted.please help.

Does clearing the Temp folder help?
Type %temp% in Start, Run:

Select all and delete the contents.
