The help file tells me I can password protect a compressed "zipped folder"
and yet I can see how thats done. I created the folder but can't assign a
password! Anyone here know how thats done?

Paragragh five in the help file under "Compressed (zipped) Folders overview"
states the following.....

"You can protect zipped compressed folders with a password. This protects
your data if you save it in a shared network folder, attach it to an e-mail
message, or move it between work and home on floppy disks."

If I gave more than a penny for a thought. Would anyones
thoughts make cents?

After you've created your compressed folder, double click on
it to open it up.
Click on the File menu at the top of the screen.
Select "Add a password" from the menu.
Enter the password twice and click OK.

Note: It should go without saying that if you forget your
password, you won't be able to get back into the folder.
