Compressed folder

I downloaded a small ZIP folder from a website, size 8.26 KB, and the files
have been extracted successfully. However when I have attempted to email the
zipped folder as an attachment the recipients get an error message: The
compressed (zipped) folder is invalid or corrupted. We all have Widows XP. We
are all using the XP compression utility.
