Compress Old Files

Is there a way to delete these files with out running the disk clean-up
utily?

Select a file or a group of files, right click and click Delete.

Select a file or a group of files and hit your Delete key.

Drag the file(s) to the recycle Bin.

1 Open a folder.
2 Click the file you want to delete.
3 Under File and Folder Tasks, click Delete this file.

That's kind of a strange question, David. Compressing old files does not
delete anything; it just compresses them to save space.
YOu can delete them as you would any other file, but ... BE CAREFUL that
you aren't deleting system files!! You could get some rude surprises down
the road. Because a file isn't being used today doesn't mean you won't
install something tomorrow tha tneeds that file.
