Running XP sp2, want to set DTC to local coordinator not network coordinator
, is currently looking for dtc coordinator on network and generating
GetWhereabouts errors in the event log. PC is in a workgroup for a home
network, not in a domain.

When I do
Start / Control Panel / Administrative Tools / Component Services / Computers

I see "My computer" in the tree view but not in the details pane. So I
can't right click on "My Computer" to access properties to set DTC options.

Right click on Computers then select view on toolbar /customize shows all
options checked but in green not black

How do I get access to "My Computer" component services properties

Don't you have an button beside the Details buttons on your Toolbar in the
Components Services that is in a shape of a computer screen?
What happens when you click on that.

Thanks for the reply Peter,

Details are turned on, but no visibility of "my computer" in the open folder
