Complex Rules

I want to check messages by Sender OR a word in the subject line. I have to
set up two rules to do this and want to combine with an OR statement but
can't see where to do this eg rule would read:
"apply this rule after the message arrives with 'ERIS' in the subject line
OR from (simon OR fred OR paul) and assign it to eht ERIS category

You can get the effect of an OR by applying separate rules sequentially:
apply this rule after the message arrives with 'ERIS' in the subject line
and assign it to the ERIS category

apply this rule after the message arrives from (simon OR fred OR paul)
and assign it to the ERIS category

Outlook rules can't do multiple conditions OR'd together.
