Completely remove display driver

Tom

I am trying to install a new display driver and I have
been told that I should remove the old driver before
installing the new one. The problem is that after
removing the driver I have to reboot the PC. When it re-
starts it detect my graphics card and automatically
installs the old driver again.

How can I stop this happening. I have tried booting is
safe mode and the same thing happens

Hello

On your old video card, was it build into the mother brd
or was it a card that you installed, can you provide that info
or your pc or model and type

Download driver cleaner from the above site.
Carefully follow the instructions. Use both the
driver cleaner and the cab cleaner. Conflicting
video and audio drivers are a real PITA.
