Compile errors on open and close

I just installed Office 2003 and am having a couple of problems.
1) I get 'compile error on hidden file<name>' errors referring to AutoExecNew on open, Distmon on close, and TBrun9 on open and close. This occurs when opening the program itself, before I try to load any worksheets

2)I can't seem to get the dictation/Voice commands toolbar to appear and it is not selectable in the toolbars conversation. I have set up and trained to voice function, but I can't access it without the toolbar

What can you folks contribute to my search

On the first one, I suspect you have several programs which have loaded
add-ins to work with Excel. TBRun9.dll is definitely one from textbridge
OCR software. If you can recognise which programs they are, try re-loading
them. If not, look in excel and under Tools>Add-ins... uncheck one at a
time to ascertain which are the guilty ones.

On the second point, I've never used voice, so can't make any suggestion
there, sorry.
