Hey, I have a somewhat weird problem... My windows explorer crashed last
night and now when I try to run a game, it can't use the save files in there
anymore, only one, very old save file remains visible to the program.
In windows explorer however, a button appeared with compatibility files on
it. When I click that, I can see my old save files just fine, but for some
reason, I don't know how to get the game to recognize them anymore. I tried
running the program as an admin, but that didn't work out.

How do I get these files to be recognized again? I know the game worked fine
in Vista before the crash, but I really don't wanna have to go through all
that again if I can avoid it.

What the heck are these compatibility files anyway?

Okay so what game crashed and what game are you trying to run that is
causing this issue? Have you updated any applications or anything? Have
you restarted since to make sure you are okay? It could be the game got
corrupted.

Heh, I tried to do the most retarded thing... I copied and pasted the files
from the compatibility files folder... and that worked... how retarded is
that? :S
