To look at compatibility issues, place the XP CD in the CD-ROM drive. If
the CD autoruns, do not start setup. Instead choose Start, Run enter
X:\i386\winnt32.exe \checkupgradeonly
(where X: is your CD-ROM drive)
This will give you a compatibility report.
