I have Microsoft Publisher 2002 which I love. It runs fine on my computer
with XP but crashes on my laptop with Vista. Is ther a way to make it run
without purchasing a new program? I love the one I have.

Hi, Oogie.

I'm not sure why you picked the Windows Mail newsgroup to ask about
Publisher and Vista. You would probably get a much more focused answer in
the Publisher newsgroup. Just click here:

Publisher 2002 will run on Vista. Are you using all of the Office 2002 products?
I have Publisher 2002 installed in its own folder; try installing Publisher that
way and see if you are successful in getting it to run.

Mary, I have Office 2007 Home and Student. I don't understand what you mean
by installing in its own folder.

Create a folder on your hard drive named Publisher 2002, when you setup
Publisher browse to this folder to install.

The problem with cross-posting a wrongly posted message is that now
we get to see all the responses from the other newsgroup. :-(

So what? If Mary decided not to crosspost her replies, the OP probably
wouldn't see them.

Ah ... thank you for explaining this, Bear ... I was wondering why I would
sometimes see someone answer a post that was nowhere to be found in the
thread I was reading. I have a lot to learn about newsgroups still ... van
