When I attempt to start the Compatability Wizzard on my computer(Vista Home
Premium SP1), I get the following small window pop-up:-

Line 36
Char 1
Error Automation server can't create object
Code 0
Url res://acprgwiz.dll/compatmode.hta

Do you want to continue running scripts on this page

I cannot then continue with the wizard.
Has anyone any idea how I can correct this problem?

Hello Ramesh

Thanks for that link. I followed the procedure and the first three
completed OK. The fourth line failed to load and came back with the
following error:-

"The module MSXM13.DLL failed to load

Make sure the binary is stored at the specified path or debug it to check
for problems with the binary or dependent .DLL files

The specified module could not be found"

Although MSXM13.DLL failed to load I can now run the compatability wizard.
Can you tell me why this happened.
I would also like to ask you what happened in the first place and what this
procedure has put right.

Thank you for your help!

Bob

Hi Bob,

It's actually MSXML3.DLL.

Glad you got the Compat wizard fixed!
