I've been getting similar error msgs when I use Windows Live Messenger, both
v.8 and v.8.5, only with url's at microsoft.com.

I couldn't care less about these faulty scripts, but does anybody know a way
to turn the annoying error messages off?

Found it. Uncheck Display error notifications and check Disable script
debugging for both IE and others in Internet options advanced tab.
