compatability problem

I have a setup launcher that will not install
I am running windows xp pro, the error message states
"the release of application compatability toolkit is intended for
microsoft windows 2000.

My question is "Is there anything I can do to by pass this error problem

It's not an "error problem". It's an actual notice that the app is for
NT5 only.
