Compatability issue with Windows Xp?

When I try to play High Heat B.B. 2001, I always get a message that reads this game has compatability problems with Windows XP? This happens with all my game software, How can I fix the problem
such as Nascar Racing 2 ,Trophy Hunting and so on, the games all load fine but, never run

Try running the game in compatibility mode by right clicking the shortcut
and clicking on Properties - change the settings for compatibility via the
tab at the top.
