Comparing folders

Here's hoping someone may be able to answer this.

I have two computers networked and have been doing work on both of them. Now
I want to compare a number of folders on the two computers and make sure
that folder X on one computer is the same as folder X on the other.

Does anyone know if there is a feature in Win XP Pro that will do this. If
not, what about some third party software.
