Compact & repair failed!!

Hi

Using Access 2003

I have an existing ADP file, which was working perfectly ok last night,
but.....
this morning, I switch on and Access tells me "This file is not in the
correct format for a Microsoft Access project"

Backup is also corrupt

Tried to compact & repair, but no dice

Tried importing into clean project - no way!

Anyone got any suggestions? Am considering suicide ;-)

Try the previous backup copy -- may be some extra work to bring it up to
date, but probably better than starting from scratch. It couldn't be that
your copy of Access was "restored" to an earlier version, could it?

Reminds me: I have a few backup files that need to be transferred to offline
backup media.
