Compact on Close

Hi,

I've read a few posts on compacting databases when they close and I would
like to set this on my front and back ends, however I have no idea where to
start.

Could someone please advise me please.

Try

Tool > Options >General > Compact on Close = True

GAVO.

Check the box at:

Tools ... Options ... General ... Compact on Close

That will only do the front-end. The back end needs to be done periodically
with code, using a scheduling program or something like Total Access Agent:
